Frequently Asked Questions:
What is this site?
Our site allows a person to get a better understanding of how to create more health as the lack of health is at the source of many weight issues. The analysis looks beyond calories counting, assessing 7 lifestyle factors. Your practitioner will help you isolate the areas you need to focus on, then tailor-make a program for you. You’ll receive a graph visualizing and rating the actions that can help achieve healthy weight loss.
What are the 7 factors?
The graph measures sleep quality, energy level, stress level, nutrients in your foods, correct exercise, glycemic (foods that break down into sugar fast or slow) foods and hidden junk foods.
What is the program?
The program consists of 3 phases: Phase I; Cleaning the body or purification using whole food concentrates and correct eating, Phase II; Enhancing the body with missing nutrients to help with cravings, quality of sleep and energy, and Phase III; Fitness training, which optimizes your ability to lose weight. Our program is based on ‘getting healthy to lose weight, not losing weight to get healthy.’
How are my nutrients analyzed?
Your foods will be analyzed based on the USDA National Nutrient Database for Standard Reference Release 18. You pick from a selection of foods and their quantity and you’ll receive an evaluation of 31 different nutrients comparing them to the normal levels for your age and gender.
Why do you emphasize nutrients compare to calories?
It is the nutrients in food that creates health, not necessarily the calorie itself. Attempting to lose weight with manipulating calories levels may or may not increase your health.
What does the weight management graph look like?
What does the nutrient graph look like?
I have cravings that prevent me from sticking to a program. How can your program help me?
Cravings are the body’s way of telling you there is something missing. We have found that most cravings are eliminated within days on our program due to higher levels of nutrients in the recommended foods and food concentrates. Doing a program without ridding cravings reduces the chances of following through.
What type of fitness training do you recommend?
The benefit from exercise occurs in the recovery part, not during the actual exercise session. Our fitness program assesses your ability to recover, then sets up a program to enhance the results from exercise by matching to exercise pattern to your fitness level. Each body is different and what might be good for one type is not good for someone else.
Who developed this program?
Dr. Eric Berg DC, the author of The 7 Principles of Fat Burning created this software to make it easier for others to achieve long term weight loss. The principles are based on a long track record of 21 years and over 35,000 people who have went through the program.
